This hands-on class will create Tahitian shrimp in coconut-vanilla sauce, coconut kau kau - a twice-baked and mashed sweet potato dish with vanilla and ginger from Papua New Guinea, Madagascar's coconut-vanilla rice with curried chicken and pineapple skewers, fresh market salad with candied vanilla bacon and vanilla bean vinaigrette, assorted summer melons with vanilla sea salt, Tahitian coconut cake with caramelized bananas and vanilla bean ice cream, plus a Tahitian pineapple-passion fruit rum cocktail with orange juice and vanilla, and vanilla bean iced coffee.
